RemScan for Agriculture

RemScan can measure many analytes in soil such as pH, Soil Organic Carbon, Total Inorganic Carbon, Phosphorous Buffering Index, Soil Texture, and many more.

RemScan was used to measure agricultural soil in a paddock on northern Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. The measurements were made by resting RemScan on the soil, pulling the trigger and waiting 20 seconds after which the results were then calculated and displayed on the Tablet.

Measurements were made at 100 metre intervals to map the whole paddock, other intervals could be used.

RemScan can measure many analytes in soil such as pH, Soil Organic Carbon, Total Inorganic Carbon, Phosphorous Buffering Index, Soil Texture, and many more, some of which are shown in the graphs shown.
